Visual Concept and Graphic Design for Toivonojan kesänäyttely. Toivonoja Summer Exhibition 2025 In These Moments brings together visual art and design, celebrating the vibrant colors and atmosphere of summer. The exhibition is located in Nastola, Lahti.
The works in the exhibition draw attention to the subtle details and observations of everyday life, surprising with their perceptiveness. Ordinary objects, spaces, and moments hold within them life’s deepest questions and meanings. Amid the chaos of daily life, the most beautiful and delicate moments emerge.
Toivonoja logo was inspired by the window decorations of the main building
and the oblong shape of the exhibition space.
Two summery colors, green for art and yellow for design.
Toivonoja Summer 2026 presents Liikaa keltaista (Too Much Yellow),
a solo exhibition of new paintings by Anna Retulainen.
Retulainen has created the works specifically for the Toivonoja landscape and gallery space. The view beyond the windows reappears in the paintings, which—when positioned just right—open up new dimensions in the walls and extend the space imaginatively beyond its physical limits.
